Bea Hunter Erdman is a licensed cosmetologist who has specialized in clinical skin care for over 30 years. Working for two well-known Dallas plastic and reconstructive surgeons, she focused on services and treatments for cosmetic and surgical/restorative conditions. Her experience working with cancer patients, and her mother’s own diagnosis, motivated her to become oncology trained in 2011.
She was a founding member and Inaugural President of The Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists where she has presented on a wide variety of skin care related topics at numerous national meetings. With a passion for education, she has served as lead educator, trainer, and consultant for several skin care manufacturers as an independent educator.
Bea has been a facilitator for The American Cancer Society’s Look Good, Feel Better Program since the early 90’s. She volunteers at local hospitals including the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and St. Joseph Shimberg Women’s Center in Tampa. She also is a board member for Women With Purpose, a foundation that assists cancer families with financial aid. After moving to Florida, she was motivated to create an outlet where oncology patients could find supportive care, aesthetic services and counseling for the emotional and physical effects of treatment. As such, Salvé Aesthetic Solutions was established as a division of Remedies Clinical Skin Care Management, LLC.
I am honored to be a trainer for Oncology Spa Solutions because I believe every aesthetician should know how to address the physical and emotional needs of cancer clients when they come into a practice. Hugs are healing!
